Custom Spas & Water Features Designed Into Your Pool
The details that turn a pool into an experience: a spa that’s warm in February, water you can hear from the patio, and light and fire that make the backyard worth staying out in after dark.
Spas & Water Features
Custom Spa Builder For The Texas Gulf Coast
A spa and water features are not accessories bolted onto a finished pool. In a well-designed backyard they are part of the pool’s structure, plumbing and equipment from the very first sketch, which is why Draeger designs them together.
Whether it’s a raised spillover spa, a sheer descent along a raised wall, deck jets the kids will run through, or a fire bowl reflected in the water at night, every feature is drawn into the 3D design, engineered with the pool and priced in your proposal. Nothing is an afterthought, and nothing is a surprise.
Designed with the pool. Built as one piece.

Raised Spas, Spillovers & Spa-Pool Combinations
Because Draeger builds in gunite, the spa is formed from the same steel and shotcrete as the pool. That opens up options a drop-in hot tub never can.
- Raised spillover spas that sit above the pool and spill into it over a tile or stone weir
- Flush, in-ground spas separated from the pool by a dam wall for a clean, modern line
- Standalone spas for properties where a full pool isn’t the plan, built to the same standard
- Custom seating, jet placement, therapy benches and lighting designed around how you’ll actually use it

Water Features That Fit The Design
Moving water changes how a backyard feels. It masks road noise, draws the eye, and gives the space a sound you’ll notice from inside the house. The right feature depends on the pool’s style, the space and the budget.
- Sheer descents and scuppers along raised bond beams and walls
- Natural stone waterfalls and grottos for freeform, resort-style pools
- Deck jets, bubblers and rain curtains for play and ambience
- Tanning ledges with bubblers and umbrella sleeves for shallow lounging

Lighting, Fire & The Finishing Touches
On the Gulf Coast, the backyard gets used most after the sun goes down. Underwater LED lighting, landscape lighting, fire bowls and fire pits extend the evening and make the pool the center of the yard at night, not just at noon.
Automation ties it together: heat the spa from your phone on the drive home, set the lights and features for a party, or shut everything down from the kitchen. It’s all specified in the equipment plan, so the wiring and gas lines are in place before the deck goes down.
