Who We Are
A Pool Builder That Answers For The Whole Project
Draeger Outdoor Living was founded by Walker Draeger in Alvin, Texas, on a simple idea: the person who sells you a pool should be the person responsible for building it. Not a salesman who hands you off to a scheduler, and not a rotating cast of subcontractors nobody is coordinating.
We design custom gunite pools, spas, patio covers and outdoor kitchens for homeowners across Brazoria, Galveston and Fort Bend County, and we manage every phase of the build ourselves. You have one point of contact from the first sketch to the first swim, and one company accountable for the result.

Why Gunite, And Why It Matters Who Builds It
We build in gunite because it is the only way to build a truly custom pool. Reinforced steel and shotcrete formed on site can take any shape, carry a raised spa or a sheer descent wall, and be engineered for the specific soil under your yard. A shell from a mold can’t.
But gunite is only as good as the people placing it. Steel spacing, shotcrete thickness, plumbing pressure tests, cure times and inspections are where a pool is made to last or made to fail years later. That’s the work we manage closely, because it’s the work you’ll never see once the pool is finished.

Draeger Outdoor Living LLC is a Texas limited liability company, licensed and insured, based in Alvin and building across the Texas Gulf Coast. Proposals are detailed and in writing. Permits are pulled. Inspections are passed.
We’re a local company building in our own community, which means our reputation in League City, Pearland, Friendswood, Alvin and the surrounding towns is the whole business. That’s the standard every project is held to.
